Whether it is a multinational food corporation changing the way they produce their food (the good ones at least) or your grandmother recycling her Sunday Times. Every little helps.....

Here at the noctu HQ we are always thinking of ways to become more sustainable and helpful to our planet (and to the people we share it with.) We are by no means perfect and are always trying to become better at what we do.

We are busy cooking up plans to forward our ethics of sustainability and are currently brainstorming ideas on how to help more in 2017 so watch this space...

In the meantime though, a very "micro" idea has come to mind and we thought we would share it with you. Nothing new, nothing groundbreaking but cute and good for the hygge vibe. It's also a kind of two for one which is always a good thing. We have been developing our natural soy wax candles over the last year, refining scents and working with local potters to create our beautiful ceramic, hand made pots. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and once burnt out we were left with these gorgeous pots with no home or use. We are a little green fingered here at noctu HQ and decided to transform / recycle the candle pot into a plant pot. Bingo... a new life and a new little bit of green for the home. 

So now, each naturally scented soy wax candle we sell to you, we will include a few seeds as well so that when the candle is finished you can plant a seed and watch it grow. We are kind like that you see...
